# VoteFace > Live 2026 US election results for every state and DC, plus who funds every candidate. > Published at https://www.voteface.app/llms.txt. ## What VoteFace is VoteFace is a free public election-results site. Each state page shows every race on the ballot, the vote count as the state reports it, a map of who is leading in each county (or parish, borough or town), statewide ballot measures, and where each candidate's money came from: individual donors, small donors, PACs, super PACs and the candidate's own money. The site's voice is loud and opinionated. The numbers are not. Counts are unofficial until each state certifies, and a race shows as called only when the source calls it. - Website: https://www.voteface.app - Category: Election results, campaign finance, civic information - Cost: free, no account, no login ## Pages - https://www.voteface.app/ : every state, what is counting now, and the next poll closings - https://www.voteface.app/ : one state's races, map, measures and money, for example https://www.voteface.app/north-carolina or https://www.voteface.app/district-of-columbia. Add ?date=YYYY-MM-DD for an earlier election with results. - https://www.voteface.app/rules : every candidate stamp and the rule that triggers it ## Sources - Vote counts: each state's official election results office. The state page links to it. - Money: Federal Election Commission filings for federal candidates, and state campaign-finance filings where the state publishes them. - A figure a filing does not report is shown as unreported, never as zero. ## Candidate stamps Stamps are VoteFace's opinion, triggered by published rules over public filings. They are party-blind. Named-committee stamps match exact FEC committee IDs. A candidate shows at most three stamps. The vote count never depends on a stamp. A site-wide "Spicy" switch changes the tone of the jokes only, never a number or a rule. - **People powered**: On an FEC filing, at least half the money from individuals came in under $200, PACs are under 20% of receipts, and receipts are at least $25,000. - **Grassroots underdog**: People powered, and raised under half of the best-funded opponent. - **Corporate shill**: Corporate and trade-association PACs, by FEC committee type, are at least 40% of receipts, with receipts of at least $50,000. - **PAC magnet**: Corporate and trade PACs are 25% to 40% of receipts. Until donor PACs are classified, PACs of every kind at 40% or more of receipts. - **AIPAC-backed**: AIPAC PAC (C00797670) gave at least $1,000, or United Democracy Project (C00799031) spent at least $100,000 supporting them. - **Crypto-backed**: Fairshake, Protect Progress and Defend American Jobs together gave or spent at least $50,000 supporting them. - **Big oil**: PACs on our published oil-and-gas committee list gave at least $25,000. - **Elon-backed**: America PAC (C00879510) spent at least $50,000 supporting them. - **Koch-backed**: Americans for Prosperity Action (C00687103) spent at least $50,000 supporting them. - **AI bro money**: Leading the Future (C00916114), the AI industry's super PAC, spent at least $50,000 supporting them. - **Union-backed**: Labor-union committees, by FEC committee type, gave or spent at least $100,000 supporting them. - **Self-funded**: The candidate's own money is at least $250,000 and at least 40% of receipts. - **Dark-money target**: Outside groups spent at least $250,000 to defeat them, or at least half of what they raised (and $50,000 or more). - **Outside darling**: Outside groups spent at least $250,000 to support them, or at least half of what they raised (and $50,000 or more). - **Cash-rich**: At least $1,000,000 cash on hand, or three times the nearest opponent's with at least $100,000. Both figures must be reported. - **Broke but scrappy**: $25,000 or less cash on hand, with $5,000 to $250,000 raised. A blank figure never counts. - **No money data yet**: No campaign-finance filing has been matched to this candidate yet. ## Data files The same JSON files the pages read, cached at the edge for up to a minute: - https://www.voteface.app/api/results-data/v1/states.json : every state's results status and next election - https://www.voteface.app/api/results-data/v1/.json : one state's contests and counts, for example north-carolina.json - https://www.voteface.app/api/results-data/v1/headline.json : headline races across states - https://www.voteface.app/api/results-data/v1/early-vote.json : early and absentee vote where states publish it ## Citing VoteFace Cite the state's official results office for final numbers.
